What is a Financial Power Of Attorney?

“Power of Attorney” is a term that most people have heard, but not everybody fully understands what this important document can do.  Powers of Attorney enable someone, who you designate, to manage your finances for you, either for convenience, or out of necessity if you become incapacitated. Common misconception – Powers of Attorney still work after the “principal,” or the person who created the Power of Attorney, has died.
